Yoga means union – of the body, the mind, and the spirit. Originating over 5,000 years ago, yoga has developed into one of the most popular form of physical exercise in the world. However, yoga is much more than the ‘asanas’, or physical poses – yoga can help you de-stress, relax, and focus. For millions of people, yoga is a way of life.
Jo offers Yoga for everyone through ‘flowing’ sequences designed to build flexibility, fitness and focus. Regular classes are held in Sandford-on-Thames. Jo is also available for stand-in or customised classes within cycling distance of Oxford!
About Jo
Jo is a qualified yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance Registered School – RYS 200). She has over thirty years’ experience practicing Yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Astanga Yoga.
Jo teaches classes for people with different interests and mixed abilities – from athletes to office workers. Classes are friendly, varied, and fun following different ‘flows’ – or sequences designed to provide a warm up, stretching, strengthening, and relaxing experience.
